DESCRIPTION
not shy for here a lot of times
Pieces inspired by the cult classic Darkly_Gathers novel "The Wasp Room". I'm acting out a story in my classroom with my 7th grade students, and there's a scene with wasps bothering a man - this will make it much more fun.:) Abstraction is my form of cowardice & I admit it. Third releasing part of Simply Soundscapes Incorporated, literally purple noise, my real songs have yet to cum.

FUN FACTS
• I believe it was a Sarah Z post that introduced me to "The Wasp Room", and like most outside observers, she just found it really funny. I don't disagree, but I also think some people got rather mean-spirited about it. The story is undoubtedly absurd in concept & execution, yes, and it still succeeds at conjuring up disturbing imagery. I find that contrast really endearing, and very much in line with my artistic philosophy, so I feel a sort of kinship with it. Shoutout to Reddit Horror. Never gets old.
• Like both of its predecessors, this EP's cover art once again makes use of ThisAnimeDoesNotExist.
• I would easily consider Cowardice./ the least substantial piece of the mainline Roxy Radclyffe discography. It's not even close. It still wouldn't be close even if we were only comparing the EPs. I'm genuinely not sure how I allowed it to be this way. I mean, I still think TRACK 1 is quite a great piece of dark ambience, but the Insect Noise Wall that comprises TRACK 2 honestly makes me feel nothing. I know I could've gone harder than this, and the fact that I didn't saddens & baffles me. Almost makes me wanna replace it with an overhauled version at some point, but I dunno if it's really worth the trouble. It's not like The Singular Release I'm Not Especially Proud Of automatically poisons the whole discography surrounding it. I can just allow people to continue overlooking it. I'm much better off putting my energy into perfecting the endless stream of future projects.
