In the beauty of Creation & Manifestation of Essence
Retold from the long-neglected Sona's perspective

Pictured: Ms. Radclyffe's own 'Sona' observing Creation in action, one trail of which is followed across these songs.

FUN FACTS

• This album was originally going to be titled "Sona", and take a more darkly existential approach to the whole "Sona's Perspective" premise, but I scrapped that in favor of a more uplifting meditation on the joy of creation, depicting a symbiotic relationship between Character and Creator. This much better reflects how I actually feel about the concept of fursonas, and being a furry in general.

• Assembling this album's cover was quite the complex process! Most obviously, it marks the first time I hired another artist for a drawing to be placed into my own arrangement. Here's a glimpse of that process:

Next, let's examine the backdrop. This was all arranged using ROBLOX Studio, because as silly as that may sound, there is no other 3D workspace I'm more familiar with than that.

To seamlessly piece these dimensions together, I had to make all sorts of micro-adjustments to the camera position, and use OBS to overlay the drawing in real time with a chroma key effect, so I wouldn't have to keep manually pasting new background images for every adjustment. This resulted in some funny screenshots.

• One final note on the cover: it did not occur to me (until it was already too late) that the pencils shooting white beams everywhere could be interpreted as a cum joke. Doesn't really matter, but I do find it kinda funny how that possibility went over my head for so long.

TRACK 6 may or may not be the first alternative R&B song written about fursuit sex of all things. I would love to hear any others if they exist.
